In 1987, the Cattle Baron Steak Ranch had its humble beginnings. Eight years later, this vision
not only became a legend but was also honoured with the prestigious award for the Best
Steakhouse in South Africa.

The franchise company has an extremely experienced and talented franchise team who are
constantly keeping the group ahead with good service standards, menu & restaurant upgrades,
new food concepts, customer satisfaction and the expansion of the Cattle Baron Group.

Though meat is the backbone of our business, we also offer a wide selection of fine fare, and it
is our top-quality steaks for which we are best known!!!

We still make use of the "Old Fashioned" charcoal grill, as we believe that the heat consistently
produced from a well-packed grill will result in a far better tasting steak.

The Grill House Concept is a step forward in the finer dining aspects of the restaurant genre for the group. Here some very innovative and experienced chefs were headhunted to put some
new, fun dishes on the menu in an atmosphere of freshly starched napkins and tablecloths
augmented by the slight scent of imported cigars & cognac.

All our restaurants are air-conditioned and have separate smoking areas.
