Ronnie Dick
CEO (Director)
A real entrepreneur, Ronnie is someone whose natural inclination
is to see the opportunities, not the difficulties.
Ronnie started out by owning a Wimpy Franchise in Sea Point
which he later sold before joining the Spur Steak Ranch Franchise.
He opened one of the first six Spur Steak Ranches - the Acapulco
spur in Bergvliet, Cape Town . He sold it after eight years. During
this period he opened a second successful Spur - Cincinnatti Spur
in Pinelands, Cape Town . This he sold after two years and he
then proceeded to explore the overseas Fast Food market. After a
trip to New Orleans he opened the very successful Bourbon Street
Grill in Cape Town . Two years later he formed his own Franchise
Company and opened another three Bourbon Street Grills situated
in Claremont, Parow and Somerset West. He eventually sold the
Franchise and started a Restaurant Consultancy business. He
specialized in the Fast Food Market and successfully opened a fast
food outlet, called New Orleans Kitchen, in the Cape Town CBD.
Thereafter, he opened an outlet for a client in Tygervalley, called
"Tootsies". He opened a second outlet called " Chat 'n Chew" in
Ottery for another client and he also opened two successful up-
market kiosk-type operations in the Cape Town CBD.
He thereafter opened the very successful Cattle Baron Steak
Ranch in Bellville. For more Cattle Baron specific history click here.
