The Cattle Baron Franchise Company will provide the following:
. estimated cash flow forecasts;
. estimated set-up cost schedule including items of capital nature, as well as operating capital
requirements;
. assistance in negotiating favourable leases;
. detailed drawings including those for plumbing, electrical and ventilation installations;
. interior design, including the supply of all exclusive décor materials;
. intensive training of all employees prior to the opening of a Cattle Baron store;
. ongoing training, support, operational, brand and recipe development;
. recipe and operations manuals to assist the franchisee in the conduct of the franchised
business;
. instruction in relation to the Operations Manual;
. continually review and upgrade of menu prices to ensure competitiveness in the market;
. produce menus and price lists;
. register and procure the registration of the trademarks under the Trademarks Act;
. advise on management, sales, administrative, operational and technical matters; and
. convene regular meetings.
The Cattle Baron Franchise Company will assist in respect of the following:
. the selection of a suitable site and assistance in the compilation of a business plan;
. negotiate prices on equipment, fixtures and fittings;
. selection in management, service and kitchen staff;
. endeavour to provide the franchisee with group discount prices in relation to the raw
materials and equipment used in the business;
. marketing and advertising;
. daily operations;
. safety and hygiene programme;
. give assistance of such kind, as the franchisor in its sole discretion shall consider necessary
to enable the franchisee to trade within the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement;
. supply stock to the franchisee;
. undertake not to grant another Cattle Baron franchise in the pre-determined trading
territory; and
. undertake to make available information relating to the business.
